How to change the DotNetNuke Favicon - even for the non-technical person.

Often times people ask one of our staff members here at Jango Studios about changing the default DNN Favicon for their website. As with most things it's very easy once you know how.

First off you'll want to start with high quality image and upload it to www.Favicon.cc. Follow their instructions and after you've downloaded your new favicon just upload it to DNN's root folder. If you wish to apply the favicon to a child portal then upload the favicon to the child portals root directory "Portals/PortalID".
